Vinyl vs. Wood

Is the above picture realistic? Yes, it shows two fences - vinyl after four years of no maintenance and wood after four years of no maintenance. Obviously, now the wood must be replaced. Perhaps the wood could have been saved but only if the owner spent a considerable amount of time and money to maintain it with paint and nails.

The vinyl has never been touched - no paint - no nails - no replacements. It looks and will continue to look as good as new. It is very safe for livestock with no poisonous CCA treatment, splinters, protruding nails and no separation for escape.
The owner has already decided to replace their decrepited wood fence with another beautiful maintenance free vinyl three rail fence.
